Vera Jeffords Obituary

It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Vera Jeffords, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 94.

Born in Italy in 1931, Vera immigrated to the United States with her family when she was just two years old, bringing with her the quiet resilience and grace that would define her life. Vera now rejoins her cherished husband, Edward, in heaven after a long and loving marriage. Together, they built a life grounded in devotion, humility, and faith.

She leaves behind five children—Ed, Dan, Steve, Gary, and Anne Marie—along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her deeply. To them, she was more than a mother and grandmother; she was the steady heart of the family, the one who brought calm in chaos and wisdom in confusion.

Vera was the most easygoing woman you could ever meet—a true peacemaker, prudent, practical, and refreshingly detached from worldly things. Her quiet strength and gentle presence were the foundation on which our family was built and continues to stand.

She will be remembered for her unshakable calm, fortitude, and her unconditional love. We are comforted knowing that her legacy of grace and strength lives on in the lives she touched.
