Vincent G. Lombardo, lovingly known as Vinny, passed away on December 27, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 78, leaving behind a life rich in love, laughter, and connection.
Born on April 3, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, Vinny was the eldest child of Salvatore “Sammy” and Josephine “Josie” Lombardo. From an early age, he embraced the responsibility of being the oldest of 3 boys, with pride—a role he carried with strength, loyalty, and heart throughout his life.
On May 1, 1971, Vinny married the love of his life, Cheryl, beginning a devoted partnership that would span 54 beautiful years. Together, they built their family on Long Island, New York, welcoming their two children, Jeffrey and Kristen. His greatest joy came from time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren, who were the center of his world.
Vinny is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Lombardo; his children, Jeffrey Lombardo (Kelley - spouse) and Kristen Kissler (Damian - spouse); and his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Jayla, Ava, Ryan, Connor, and Alayna.
Vinny’s legacy lives on through the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the countless lives he touched. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember a man who truly made the world brighter by simply being in it.
