William Emmett Malone passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, at the age of 98 in Plano, TX. He was born on May 20, 1927 in Hudson. NY, to Roger Francis Malone and Margaret E. Malone.
Emmett is survived by his loving children, Kevin (Renee) Malone, Maureen Malone, and William E. Malone, Jr. He is also survived by over 30 nieces and nephews who many referred to as “Uncle Emmie”. Emmett will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Courtney (Erik) Malone Schmitt of Houston, Texas, Jeffrey (Catherine) Malone of Richardson, Texas, Daniel (Kate) Malone, great granddaughter Florence Malone of McKinney, Texas, Sarah Mitchell (Dakota) of Lewisville, Texas and Hailey (Trevor) Bagwell and great-grandsons, Jeremy and Hudson Bagwell of VanAlstyne, TX.
Emmett was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thadene (Terry) Malone, his parents, Roger and Margaret Malone and his loving sister, Rosemary Kwasnowski, as well as his children, Josephine E. Malone, Kelly G. Malone, Kathleen P. Nett and Kathleen's husband, Douglas Nett.
Emmett will be remembered for his big smile, his sense of humor, his kind heart, dedication to his family & faith and his passion for helping others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire for generations to come.
