Mrs. Costello was my 6th-8th grade teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes. I'm 32 now and still hold on to a lot of the things she taught us. My love of reading, proficiency in writing, disdain of the word "irregardless" & to always say "you're welcome" instead of "no problem" are just a few examples. She was an incredible teacher, and left a lasting impression on her students. Sending all the condolences to her family.

My deepest sympathy to her children and their families at this sad time. I did Yvonne's hair for many years, and she became a good friend, she was a wonderful lady. She will be truly missed.

Yvonne lived a life of fun, joy and finally pain, surviving cancer and all it´s treatments for several years. May her family enjoy the promise of our Lord that upon her death, she is at peace with Jesus experiencing no more pain or tears for eternity. What hope this gives all those who have a personal relationship with our Lord. May God hold all her descendants in the palm of His hand and give you peace.

The beautiful intelligent and kind mother of our daughter in law, Virginia will be missed by so many family and friends , but in Heaven she is rejoicing as promised with no more tears or pain. May her living descendants be comforted in knowing how she prepared and lived every day for this final test and peace in the arms of Jesus.

I saw Yvonne so often at MPB at 4:30 Mass -- and so enjoyed visiting with her. She was also very helpful when EarthLinks would have a sale at the church. She will be missed. A wonderful, smart and witty lady. Wishing you peace in these days.

Trish, my deepest condolences to you. You are such a kind, loving and joyful woman, and although I never had the pleasure of meeting your mother, I suspect the apple didn´t fall far from the tree. Love and light to you and your entire family.
