Aldridge Longerbeam Obituary

Aldridge Lee "Slim" Longerbeam, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home in Rohrersville, Maryland that he shared with the late Earlene Redman.

He was born on July 27, 1946 to the late Arnold Clayton Longerbeam and Frances Elizabeth Bramhall.

Slim worked for Contee Adams Feed Company in Purcellville, Southern States in Brunswick, Plumbing Company in Mt. Airy and, finally, in 2023, retired from Loudoun County Public Schools.

Slim was a past-president and member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1136. He was also Fire Chief with Brunswick Fire Department. In his spare time, he loved to go on fishing trips.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Longerbeam, and wife, Susan, of Brunswick; his stepdaughter, Tracy Redman; his sisters, Marcia Oden of Falling Waters, WV and Mary Tyler of Harpers Ferry, WV; and his brothers, Daniel Harris of Brunswick, and (the late) William Longerbeam; his grandchildren, Makayla and Kadin Longerbeam; nephews, Leslie Berry and Robert Harris; and nieces, Ashley Bircher and (the late) Misty McKnight.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1136, 401 Central Avenue in Brunswick. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at StaufferFuneralHome.com. Aldridge Longerbeam
