Sharon Kay Peters Heath, 75, of Washington Court House, Ohio, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at her residence.
Sharon was born May 3, 1949, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Junior Calvin and Dena Ursula Olaker Peters. She was a 1967 graduate of Miami Trace High School and was a lifelong resident of this community.
She had been manager at Summit Station apartments for 13 years before her retirement in 2012.
Sharon was a member of Crossroads Christian Church. She enjoyed home decorating and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda Howard; two brothers-in-law, Robert and Stephen Heath and a sister-in-law, Melanie Ashton.
Sharon is survived by her husband, James A. Heath whom she married June 12, 1981; two sons, Jay Haines of Portsmouth, Ohio and Jason Haines of Washington Court House; a stepson, Lance Heath and his wife, Jaime, of Williamsport; six grandchildren Nivea (Craig) Motil, Calvin, Elliott, Ava and Ellie Heath, Logan Gooldin; two great grandchildren, Marin and Piper Motil, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Howard of Sabina, Pam Heath of Washington Court House, Edward and Cheryl Heath of Knoxvile, TN and John Ashton of Chillicothe.
The funeral will be Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Todd Maurer, involvement minister at the Southside Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 208 North Fayette Street, or Harvest Life Assembly of God, 1003 North North Street, Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.
