Bev was a national treasure with a laugh that was memorable. She was kind, thoughtful, caring and loved by many. I'm honored to have called her my friend.

In 1974 Bev and about a dozen-plus of us opened the LA office of a major NY ad agency. The camaraderie and---yes---happiness that we shared in the early years of that office have led many of us "founders" to gather again and again over the last 50-ish years. We'll miss inviting "B. Blake," who was such an important part of those magical years at Benton & Bowles West.

"Blake," as we always called her, was a favorite personality for many of us at Benton&Bowles ad agency. I only remember her laughing inimitably. And never an unkind word. She was a loving gem.

Bev's parent's built a home across the alley from where I lived in Calumet City. We met when we were grade school and have known each other since. Will always remember hanging out with her and her brother, Jim. My sincere sympathy to Taylor and all of her family.

Not only did Beverly and I share the same birthday but we were students at TFN. She leaves behind beautiful memories of a truly nice person with a big heart. So sorry for your loss.

I worked with Beverly at CNA Insurance in Chicago in the 60's. A group of us would get together and play cards with your Grandmother. We did lots of other fun things together.
I am so sorry to hear about her passing. My sympathy to you all.

I will never forget you Aunt Bev! You were always so sweet, so much fun, and loving to me. That trip out to LA to hang out with you for my 13th birthday is definitely one of my favorite trips ever despite the wind burn and severe allergic reactions to your 4 cats lol. Your memory will forever last in my heart and in my thoughts. Rest now, you fought hard and long. I love you Aunt Bev!!!

Dearest Taylor- so sorry to hear of your Mom´s passing. Both John and I liked her so much - especially her wit and grounded sense of life. Her commitment to you was her greatest happiness and I´m so glad she got to be with you in her final days.
