Agnes “Patty” Thompson Obituary

AGNES LILLIS THOMPSON passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 29, 2012. Agnes, affectionately known as Patty by family and close friends, was born on July, 24, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Douglas Lillis, Esq., and Margaret (Sug) Lillis, a teacher. She attended St. Theresa Catholic School in Coral Gables, Florida before graduating from Long Beach Poly High School in California. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Benjamin Thompson, parents and sister Margaret Grill, RN of Palm Beach, Florida. She worked in medical administration until 2005. She loved her family, friends, Catholic faith, Disneyland, Catalina, cards, and the mountains of North Carolina.

Agnes is survived by her children; Dr. Benjamin Thompson (wife Lori), Douglas Thompson (wife Jolee) and Jacqueline Deliman (husband Daryl). Also, survived by her beloved grandchildren Rachel, Jacob, Eliza and Sariah. Agnes leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, determination and positivity.

A private ceremony for family was held at sea near Catalina Island in celebration of Agnes' life.
