Mylan Hart Obituary

Mylan Victor Hart, 91, passed away June 7, 2013 at St. Marys Hospital. Mylan was born January 16, 1922 in Pine Island to Owen and Monda (Odeen) Hart. Mylan moved to his farm in Salem Township in 1942. On June 24, 1944, he married Elaine Theel, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 20, 1990. Mylan was a lifetime dairy farmer and was a member of Assembly of God Church in Rochester. He loved old time dancing especially to the Top Notchmen or Rhythm Playboys and enjoyed old country western music. Mylan also loved animals, his Belgian horses, trail rides, telling stories, his Goldwing trike and his many collectible cars. Above all, Mylan loved spending time and making memories with his family. Mylan is survived by his children, Judylaine (Hiram) Luttmers of Byron, Richard (Betty) of Byron, Doris Marie (Mike) Hudson of Dodge Center, Duane (Mary Beth) of Rochester, Gene (DeeDee) of Byron; special friend and companion, Marlene Schrader of Byron; special friend, Robert Fenske of Byron; grandchildren, Steven Fenske Jr., Shawn Smith, Jeri Hart, Jeff Hart, Mike Hudson Jr., Tim Hudson, Erin Hart, Adam Hart, Paul Hart, Melissa Hart, and James Hart; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild; brothers, Philip of Rochester, Delman (Laura) of Trenton, MO; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Assembly of God Church, 4240 18th Ave. NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester and one hour prior to the service at the church. Rev.
