Albert Danza Obituary

Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Albert Danza III, son of the late Albert II and Theresa Danza, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Along with his siblings and their respective spouses: Dominica and Steven Vullo, Charles and MaryAnn Danza, Margaret and Nino Russo, Robert and Anne Danza, and Jennifer and Ted D'Alessandro, and multiple nieces and nephews, Albert leaves behind his 2 sons, Albert IV and John, his daughters-in-law Leandra and Christine, and grandsons Albert V, Joseph, and John Jr.
Born on July 4, 1958, Albert grew up in Brooklyn, attending Our Lady of Grace and LaSalle Military Academy before embarking on his many business ventures including assisting in managing his family supermarkets, Danza's Paradise Restaurant, and a Snapple route.
To know Albert, was to love him. An avid hunter and fisherman, Albert was in his element in the outdoors. He also loved riding his motorcycle with his friends, especially in Coney Island and taking trips to Niagara Falls. Every visit to his upstate home always began with a warm greeting at the top of his driveway followed by an amazing home cooked meal and table full of snacks and surprises for the grandchildren. Above all else, faith and family meant everything to Albert. Albert trusted in God always and encouraged his children to do the same. Even on his toughest days he was always able to muster up enough energy to run around with his grandsons, who adored him deeply.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday October 15, 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in St Johns Cemetery, Middle Village, NY.
