Alice Rendon, aged 69 passed away Monday, June 30th, 2025, ending a struggle with scoliosis and cancer. Alice was born on November 15, 1956 in Littlefield, Texas to Eusebio and Eva Campos and raised in
Moses Lake, Washington.
Alice married the love of her life John in 1979 and they had two sons Brandon and Jarred. Alice and John had a profound love for each other and their marriage and was truly one to be aspired to. Their love, passion, trust, communication, and dedication to each other throughout their marriage and after was beautiful and inspiring.
Alice cared about people and professionally she helped the Moses Lake community as a social worker. Alice helped domestic violence and sexual assault survivors heal, helped the unemployed with employment and training services and support, and she served as a benefits specialist helping the poor with health care. Alice helped to establish some of the first domestic violence services in the community through Nuestro Lugar (Our Place) and she worked hard at uplifting the Hispanic community through various volunteer efforts.
Alice was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Alice lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience. She dedicated her life to her family.
Alice is survived by her sons Brandon and Jarred (wife Mursal). Alice leaves a legacy behind in her grandchildren Elizabeth, Zane, Sloan, and Roshany. Alice is also survived by her sisters Idalia, Rosie, Maria (husband Mike), and brother Daniel Campos. Alice also had numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved including Chris Campos, Cassandra Botello (husband Israel), Cecilio Lopez, Sergio and Andy DeLeon, Oscar and Eva Campos, Heather Long (husband Chad), Enrique Guzman (wife Jessica), Guillermo & Lissa Rodriguez. Alice also loved her extended family including the Campos family, Rendon family, Botello family, Ahmady family, Lopez family, Guzman family, Ruiz family, Rodriguez family, Long family, Caballero family, Peinado family. Alice is preceded in death by her husband John, father Eusebio, mother Eva, brothers Oscar and Louis, and brother-in-law Sergio. Alice also loved her Chihuahuas Chloe Peterson, Derf, and Cabo.
Alice wanted people to know that it is possible to integrate grief and loss. That grief does not have a time limit. That you can fight a system, that she never gave up when she knew the truth and that she was determined to be resilient just like her husband John was.
Death cannot conquer a spirit that will never die. Alice will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and she leaves a legacy of love, music, movies, writing, and the best sense of humor. We will carry with us, the memories of the love we shared and the joy that Alice brought to our lives. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and that her love will continue to live on in those that knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
"That person is a success that has lived well, laughed often, and loved much." Alice you were a success!
Thank you to family, friends, co-workers, and caregivers for all of your compassion, prayers, support, and care for Alice and during our darkest days. Alice's sons, Brandon & Jarred, also wanted to give a special thanks to Idalia Campos, Alice's sister. Thank you for everything that you did for our mom, for always having her back, for being mom's voice when it was hard for mom to speak, and for all that you did for our family.
