In the early morning hours of January 19th, after bravely enduring months of cancer, Amanda Michelle Van Dalen passed away at home, embraced by her family. Her passing leaves holes in the hearts of loved ones that can never be fully mended. Amanda's love will forever linger on in all those fortunate enough to have experienced her.
Authentically wholehearted, Amanda loved unabashedly. She was quick to comfort all those she knew and offer wisdom well beyond her years. Always eager to provide a helping hand and a listening ear, she shared just the right words, the right song, and a shoulder when one was needed. Her witty humor, paired with her infectious smile, left an everlasting impression on all of us.
Amanda was born on March 19th, 1979, in Appleton, to her parents, Tess (Pieters) Martin and Thomas Werth. She grew up in De Pere, attending West De Pere High School. Amanda was fiercely protective of her beloved siblings, Andrea (Werth) Raska and Michael Werth. Her unselfishness extended to her time as a very proud Mom to her two kiddos, Anna Lee Van Dalen and Aidan Joshua Biemeret. She taught them to live life compassionately, unrestrained, and with sincerity, just as she lived her own.
Like in many aspects of her life, Amanda blazed her own trail. She began her professional journey at APAC in Green Bay, building meaningful relationships. Over the past 14 years, her innate talent, empathetic leadership, and undeniable industriousness helped her build an accomplished career with UnitedHealth Group. Her work took her on travels where she formulated genuine connections from coast to coast.
Amanda lived authentically and kindly, inspiring others to do the same. Her beautifully magical soul shined brightly in all her roles, including as a friend, sibling, daughter, and mother. While she may not be in her physical form, we will always find her in a smile, a song, a quote, the moonlight, and all things good and bright.
Please join us as we remember and celebrate Amanda's relentless spirit and joie de vivre. We will gather on Friday January 31, 2025, from 12:00pm until 3:00pm, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N Superior Street, Appleton. A time of sharing and remembering will take place at 3:00pm that same day.
