Anne Hagen Pidkowicz, age 92, passed away on November 20, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Louis B. and Myrtle A. Hagen (nee, Phipps), daughters, Elizabeth, and Suzanne, four sisters, her little brother, and former spouse, Joe.
Our mom was born, on March 21, 1932, in Washington D.C, but raised on the family's farm, Spring Farm, in West River, Maryland. She loved the farm life! Her pride and joy were centered on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also had a great affinity for the Chesapeake Bay, sailing and fishing with her father. And oh, how proud she was of her Irish heritage!
Anne graduated from St. Mary High School in downtown Annapolis in 1950 and still maintained close friendships with a few of her classmates.
Just a terrific mom, and a friend to so many who could count themselves fortunate for knowing this deeply spiritual lady! Anne is survived by her children Patrick (Gale), Kevin, Ann, and Katie (Randy); her grandchildren, Ryan, Jaime (John), Erin, Josh, Kathryn (Matthew), Mason, Megan (Chris), and Katelyn; great-grandchildren, Hagen, Josie, Bentley, Alex, Bella, and Eli.
And finally, a huge thank you to UT Hospice (Kayla, Melissa, Ben, Michael, Dillion, and Adam)
Services will be held at a later date.
