Bertha Sanchez De Olivas, 68, of Portland Oregan entered the gates of heaven in eternal rest in Portland, Oregan. Bertha was born on April 8, 1955 to Catalina Montes and Gonzalo Sanchez in San Antonio Del Bravo Chihuahua Mexico. Bertha meet her husband Julian Olivas Sr. in Saragosa Tx. They married in Portales New Mexico, they were married for 51 years.
Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Julian Olivas Sr., parents Gonzalo and Catalina Sanchez, one sister and two brothers, in-laws Juan and Maria Olivas.
Bertha is survived by her five children Bobby Lee Olivas, Raphael Olivas, Sonia Olivas, Gerardo Olivas and Julian Olivas Jr., 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 brothers, Edward, Ramon and Ernesto. Son in-law Miguel Mandujano, and daughter in-law Viviana Olivas.
Pallbearers will carry Bertha to her final resting place in Saragosa Cemetery, they will be Bobby Olivas, Gerardo Olivas, Julian Olivas Jr., Miguel Mandujano, Victor Rivera, and Placido Zapata Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sequia Olivas, Raphael Olivas, and Eli Guerrero.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 10 am to 9 pm., and Thursday July 27, 2023 from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Saragosa, Texas with interment following at Saragosa Cemetery.
