Bobbie Jo Shuey, 52, of Howard, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Born on May 6, 1973, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Rose (Florrey) Frantz. On October 1, 2010, in Ohio, she married Ronald L. Shuey, Sr. Ron passed away on January 20, 2024.
Bobbie attended the Bellefonte Area High School. She was a Shift Manager at Wendy's in Bellefonte and at McDonalds in Milesburg. She was of the Protestant faith.
Known for her love of the outdoors, Bobbie found joy in fishing, gardening, and taking walks. Some of her happiest moments were spent relaxing on her porch with a cold beer, a cigarette, and the simple pleasure of watching birds. She cherished time spent with her family and close friends.
Bobbie is survived by her children: Tiffany A. Davies and her husband, Travis, of Williamsport and Hunter C. Alters of Lewistown and one brother, Thomas Cooper and his wife, Wendy, of Milroy. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Rosa, Cherokee, and Leon, and a very close friend that was like a grandmother to her, Janice Boone of Milesburg.
Following Bobbie's wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. She wanted a simple cremation, and the burial will be private.
Memorial contributions can be made to PAWS, 1401 Trout Rd, State College, PA 16801
