Bruce Parramore Obituary

Bruce Wayne Parramore was born November 6th, 1960 in Abilene TX to Odell and Linda Parramore. The oldest of 5 children Wes, Lori, Reese, and Lisa. Bruce fought hard but sadly lost his battle with cancer on December 14th, 2023 with his beloved wife by his side.

Bruce met the love of his life Vicky Peterson in 1977 and later married on May 11th, 1979. They welcomed their first son David Wayne Parramore March 28th, 1980, and soon after they welcomed their second son Shane Bruce Parramore December 1st, 1981. The kind of love they had for each other was one of a kind. They always had a great time doing all the things they loved together. Not only were they sole mates but Best Friend’s.

Bruce took pride in everything that he did. But his #1 pride and joy is his wife and family. When he wasn’t working you could find Bruce exploring nature, whether that was fishing, hunting, camping, riding sxs, and making memories with family and friends. You never questioned his friendship or loyalty if you were Bruce’s friend you were family. 

Bruce was extremely proud of his two sons who eventually followed in his footsteps to be amazing men. Bruce enjoyed teaching his boys to run heavy equipment like nobody’s business. He was a man of many talents there was not much he couldn’t do once he put his mind to it. 

Not only was he an amazing husband and father he was an amazing grandfather to his grandkids from having tea parties with his granddaughters to playing baseball with his grandsons. 

Bruce Wayne Parramore was preceded in death by his father Odell Parramore and sister Lori Magby. He is survived by his beloved wife Vicky, his mother Linda, and 2 sons David (Brandi) Shane (Crystal) 6 grandchildren Kenzie, Kole, Gracie, Karson, Kelsie, Presley, and 1 great-granddaughter Harper. 3 siblings Wes, Reese (Carrie), Lisa (Doug)

And many nieces and nephews who he adored. 

A visitation will be held Friday, December 22nd, 2023 from 6-7 pm then a celebration of life to follow at 7 pm. Please join us to honor Bruce at Peel Funeral Home 8525 W Magna Main Street.
