Carol Wallace Wall, age 86, of Union Mills, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Carol was born Saturday, October 22, 1938 in Rutherford County to the late Guy Wallace and Bertha Lail Wallace. She was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, class of 1957. Carol worked at Parker Hannafin for many years before retirement. She enjoyed solving all types of puzzles and found pleasure in baking cakes and goodies for her family. One of her greatest joys was hosting Sunday meals for her loved ones. She loved decorating a season-themed Christmas tree all year round. Her passion was found in spending time with her kids and grandkids. Carol was a faithful member of Pisgah Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Bratcher Wall, Jr.; siblings, Nellie Mahafee, Otho Wallace, Ray Wallace and Steve Wallace.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Martin Wall (Mary) of Ellenboro; daughter, Shelley Wall Vallecillo (Scott) of Rutherfordton; stepdaughters, Pamela Wall of Rutherfordton and Patricia Wall Karnes of Ellenboro; stepson, Dayton Rugg (Debbie) of Ft. Mill, SC; grandchildren, Brandy Harris-Karnes (Victoria), Jason Stanley (Joanie), Amy Stanley Mode (Brandon), Allison Wall Ruppe (Justin), Hanna Wall (Tyler), Loren Shehan Honeycutt (Johathan), Joseph Vallecillo, Bratcher Wall IV, Caleb Vallecillo, Jackson Vallecillo, Chris Rugg (Jennifer), Katie Chambers (Michael), Jonathan Hardin, Julianne Hardin; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Stanley, Aiden Mode, Kinsley Mode, Keenan Stanley, Noah Honeycutt and Sarah Honeycutt; siblings, Judy Parker (Johnny) of Charlotte, Diane Wells of Reno, Nevada and her brother-in-law, Wayne Wall of Forest City.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 21st at Pisgah Methodist Church with Reverend Jay Honeycutt and Reverend Don Morrison officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm in the church fellowship hall prior to service time.
