Charles W. Shaw, 79, of Shadyside Ohio passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Born on November 5, 1945, in Bellaire, Ohio a son of Amel T. 'Ted' Shaw and Florence Clutter Shaw Miller.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Sueellen Garrison and his step father, Guy Miller.
Charles served his country with honor as a member of the United States Navy. Following his military service, he devoted many years of his professional life to the United States Postal Service.Charles was also a member of the American Legion Post #52 and a former member of the Upper Ohio Obedience Training Club.
Survivors include a daughter and a son, siblings; Robert (Joyce) Shaw of Shadyside, Ohio, and Sheila (Jerry) Carl, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, brother in law George Garrison of Morganton, North Carolina, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
