Clarine Faye Ross, was born on April 11, 1954 to Perry Ross Sr. and Selma Packineau in Chicago, Illinois. Clarie attended elementary school at Circle of Life Indian Boarding School in Wahpeton ND. She graduated from White Shield High School in White Shield, ND. She was very family oriented. Having three daughters; Francine, Brandy, and Christin. Four sons; Richard, Eric, Corwin, and Dylan. She spent her youthful years living in White Shield ND, where she raised her "gang." Clarine was employed at the Four Bears Casino as a Blackjack dealer for many years. Moving to Parshall, ND in her later years. Anyone who knew her knew that she was always laughing, teasing, and joking around. Her laughter was contagious to anyone around her.
She was also known for her "tell it like it is attitude." Clarine told the truth whether you were ready for it or not. She was very optimistic, finding the silver lining to any situation. When asked how she was doing her favorite response was, "fair to partly cloudy." Clarine was easy-going and down to earth. Spending her free time with family, and her grandson Richard Jr. Watching her favorite TV Shows "The Price is Right" and "Family Feud." She had a passion for going to Casinos and Bingo throughout ND. She enjoyed listening to classic rock, oldies and country. Her favorite artists were The Temptations, Journey, Al Green, Tom Petty, George Strait and Alan Jackson.
She was a dog lover, having had numerous dogs throughout her life. She went everywhere with her dogs and loved talking on the phone to friends and family. Laughing and conversing. Everyone could count on her to answer the phone, lending a listening ear. Oftentimes she would call just to say she wanted to visit with someone. She was the type to call because she just wanted to say "goodnight." Leaving voicemails if you didn't answer. She loved to help people, was extremely loving and generous, and had a heart of gold. Clarine was the best mother to her children, grandchildren and her dogs. She will be remembered, cherished, and deeply missed by all who knew her.
