Daniel David Nichols, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 24th, 2024 in Springville, Alabama. Born on November 16th, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama to William Archie Nichols and Nannie Mae Nichols. He was the loving husband of Jane Nichols for an incredible 62 years. He is survived by his wife Jane; his children David (Terri), Cathy (Brian), Kim (Brian), and Lori; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. He grew up in Birmingham, Alabama where he developed a strong work ethic that would define him throughout his life. Daniel was a proud member of Local Iron Workers Union 92 where he dedicated himself to providing for his family through hard work and determination. His commitment extended beyond just work - Daniel was also an active member of the Shriners and Masons organizations.

In addition to being a devoted family man and hardworking professional, Daniel had a passion for helping others. He always lent a hand when someone needed it most - whether it be through volunteering or simply offering words of wisdom from his own experiences.
