Deborah Yvonne "Debbie" Welch, a beloved mother, wife, daughter and friend, passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 49, in Campbellsburg, Trimble County, Kentucky. Born on September 3, 1975, in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana, she was a bright light to all who knew her, embodying warmth and love throughout her life.
Debbie dedicated her time and talents to various roles within her community, having worked at Welch's Riverside Restaurant, Community Feed and Seed Store, Tristate Windows, and General Butler State Park and Resort, all located in Carrollton. Her commitment to her work was apparent, and she cherished the relationships formed throughout her career.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Debbie found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a special affinity for animals, especially horses, often sharing this passion with her family. Debbie's joyful spirit and love for her family created cherished memories that will remain in their hearts.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ernest "Boo" Welch, of Campbellsburg, KY; her parents, William and Joan Ward, of Milton, KY; her three sons, Timothy Ernest Welch, Trenton Foster Welch, and Trevor Baley Welch, all of Campbellsburg, KY; her sister, Roberta Bowling, of La Grange, KY; and her brother, Billy Joe Ward, of Milton, KY. Additionally, Debbie is survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Kayden Josiah Fitzgerald Welch of Carrollton, KY, and Ryder Ernest Welch of Elizabethtown, KY.
In honor of her memory, friends and family are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, KY. A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with interment to follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Debbie's spirit will always be remembered through the love she shared and the lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
