Graveside services for Dianne Phillips will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Aline, with Rev. Len Coulter officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC, Carmen.
Dianne Waynell, daughter of the late William Wayne and Marjorie Maxine (Kasperak) Richter, was born December 6, 1949, at Hardtner, Kansas, and passed away peacefully March 19, 2025, at Alva, at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 13 days.
Dianne was raised in the Aline area and graduated High School at Aline. She went to Beauty School and was a hairdresser for a short time. On September 1, 1968, she was united in marriage to Douglas Laroy Phillips at the First Christian Church in Aline. They made their home west of Aline where they raised they raised their family.
She was a member of the Aline Christian Church. She operated a restaurant for a few years and was a secretary. Later she was a construction foremen until she retired. She loved her family and enjoyed attending all her kids and grandkids activities.
Besides her parents, Wayne Richter and Majorie Holderby, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Douglas; and a brother, Russell Richter.
Dianne is survived by her children, Matt Phillips and his wife, Monica, of Aline, and Rebbecca Gable of Cleo Springs; her sister, Marsha Kiner and her husband, Phil, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; six grandchildren, Brock Phillips and his Meagan, of Cherokee, Taylor Knoph and her husband, Thomas, of Alva, Samantha Phillips of Meno, Conner Dickey of Grove, Kayelynn Frederick of Cleo Springs, and Damien Frederick of Enid; four great grandchildren, Aspen Phillips of Cherokee, Theo Knoph of Alva, Aliyah Dickey and Addison Hull, both of Grove; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
