Mr. Earl N. Gregory passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born on October 20, 1928, to Ive Gregory and Mary Kennedy Gregory in Simpson County, MS.
After graduating from high school, Earl served his country by joining the United States Air Force. He retired from a career with Mississippi Products in Madison, MS. In 1952, he married the love of his life, Louise Bynum, and they were married for 73 years.
Earl loved playing the organ and singing. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, specifically growing tomatoes. He also enjoyed watching baseball and watching his grandsons play the game. Being the head of the family meant everything to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ive Gregory and Mary Jane Kennedy Gregory; brothers Paul Gregory, Mims Gregory, and J. W. Gregory; and sisters Nellory Gregory and Netalie Roberts.
Earl is survived by his loving wife, Louise Gregory; son Ricky Gregory (Becky); daughter YeVonne Stoddard (Mike); two grandchildren, Greg (Bethany) and Kelly (Josh); great-grandchildren Connor (Abby), Hunner, Brannon, Gabriel, and Britt; and one great-great-grandchild, Avery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Michael Giles officiating. Interment will be at Sharon Cemetery.
