Ellie Baranich Obituary

Elnora Mae Baranich, age 90, of Woodsfield, OH passed away on Tuesday, May 13th in her home. She was born July 24, 1934 to the late Charles and Mildred (Toller) Goudy.
Many people knew Elnora (Ellie) from her many years in Home Interior & Gifts. She also worked at the A&P and M&K in Powhatan Point, OH and Riesbecks in Woodsfield, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Geroge Baranich, Woodsfield, OH, sister Betty (Tony) Bendetta, Bellaire, OH., sister Maxine (Emmett) Baker, Shadyside, OH., brother Harold (Donna) Goudy, Lorraine, OH, brother Donald (Kay) Goudy, Powhatan Point, OH, and brother Garren (Lori) Goudy, Fayetteville, NC.
Surviving are her children, Perry (Jolinda) Baranich, Cambridge, OH, and Kelly (Marlon) Merideth of Woodsfield, OH. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Elnora loved to sing and was an inspiration to so many. She loved the Lord and showed it in the way she lived. She was a blessing to everyone that met her.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 186 Main St. Powhatan Point, Ohio on May 19, 2025 from 10am until time of funeral service at 2pm with Pastor Mark Statler officiating. Private inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in Powhatan Cemetery.
