SAVANNAH- Mrs. Ethel Elaine Osborne Turner 72 entered eternal rest Monday, October 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the (late) Edwards Osborne, Sr. and Ethel Elaine Harrington Osborne on April 2, 1952, in Savannah, Georgia.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, a servant of Christ, and a cherished friend to so many. Born and raised in Savannah, she attended Woodville Tompkins High School. She was a Homemaker. She was a faithful member of Believers in The Word Full Gospel Ministries and served as the mother of the Church until her health begin to decline. She also was a member of the Usher Board and volunteered with Hospice Healthcare. She was affectionately called "Laney" by her family and friends.
Ethel loved spending time with her loving family. She will be remembered by her big smile and always encourage others along the way.
Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Arthur Turner, Sr., her parents Edwards Osborne, Sr. and Ethel Elaine Harrington Osborne; her siblings, Earl Osborne, Edward Osborne, Jr., Roseanne Osborne Thaxton, Isadore Dickerson, Lindsey Osborne and Claretha Bostic.
Surviving: one son, Willie Arthur Turner, Jr., two daughters, Felicia Turner, Stephaine Turner; two sisters, Linda Dickerson, Gail Osborne (Kelvin), two brothers; Eddie Lee Bostic, Arthur Coleman; one aunt, Gloria Golphin, numerous grandchildren, several great grands: special niece, Sherryl Moore, other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
