88, of Cranston, passed away Monday, October 1, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Ann P. (Soares) Baligian. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Tuktukian) Baligian.
George was a purchasing manager at Tower Manufacturing Corp. where he worked for over 50 years; served in the RI Army National Guard; and was an active member at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence.
Besides his wife Ann, George was the devoted father of Paul A. Baligian and his wife Anne Aldridge and Michael P. Baligian and his wife Roxanne all of Cranston; loving and cherished grandfather of Abigail A. Baligian; and dear brother of Marion M. Murray of Coventry and the late Susan B. Torkomian.
VISITING HOURS are Wednesday Morning, October 9th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
