George Rodhouse Ramdyhan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Rodhouse Ramdyhan, age 80, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at Holy Cross Hospital.
George Ramdyhan was born on March 13, 1944, in Georgetown Guyana. He was the son of the late Rubiteen and Joseph Ramdyhan.
He was the devoted father of his beloved daughter Charlene Ramdyhan, the grandfather of his cherished grandchildren, Jonathan and Danielle, and the great grandfather Jovanni and Jeremiah, leaving behind a legacy of love across generations.
Survived by his siblings, Janice, Pauline, Neville, and predeceased siblings ,Tyrone, Lawrence, and Aubrey. He was a beloved uncle to many nephews and nieces including Renrick, Roger, Roxanne, Yonette, Deola, Rowena, Deon, Tyrone Jr., Andre, Kim, Ron, Dion, Nicole, Lisa, Adrian, and Tiffany, along with many other nieces and nephews.
George migrated to the United States in 1985 in pursuit of a better life for his family. After moving to the United States, he worked various jobs, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He valued education greatly and, despite the challenges, eventually earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting, which he applied throughout his career, in order to build a stable future for his family.

George’s warmth, wisdom, and wit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His presence in our lives will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever be cherished.
The family of George Ramdyhan wishes to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Your prayers, kind words, and presence here today have provided comfort and strength as we honor the life of our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. We especially want to thank everyone who contributed to this service, helping to celebrate George's life in a meaningful way. May God bless you and keep you.
