Geraldine Adams Obituary
Geraldine Guidry Adams, 93, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church, on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Neil Adams (Myra), Carl Adams (Kim); daughters, Charlene Adams (Timmy), Melissa Adams, Amie Knight (Michael); 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas J. Adams; daughter, Darlene Delaune; parents, Sam and Enola Guidry; brother, Enis Guidry and sisters, Helen Rose Rodrigue and June Detillier.
Geraldine was a devout parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church where she taught religion classes over 50 years.
In lieu of flowers, consider donating to St. Hilary of Poitiers Youth Formation, 333 Twin Oaks Dr. Raceland, LA 70394.
