Trudy was born on October 20, 1933 in Dublin, Ireland to George and Gertrude Watts. Trudy lived in Dublin and worked for Guinness Brewery until March 25, 1961 when she emigrated to the United States. Trudy resided in New Jersey with her half-brother George. Trudy met and fell in love with Joe Branston and they married on August 20, 1964. They moved to Toms River, NJ where they raised their three daughters Melissa, Gerry and Wendy.
Trudy was predeceased by her husband Joe and daughter Melissa. Trudy is survived by her daughter Gerry Branston of Palm City, FL and Wendy Flynn and husband, David Flynn of Plymouth, MA; four grandsons, RJ, Gregory, Christopher and Joseph and five granddaughters, Caitlyn, Jenna, Keira, Amanda and Kaylee; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Barnegat, NJ following a burial at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
