Haley Curry Obituary

Haley Lynn (nee: Post) Curry, 30, of Florence, KY, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1993, in St. Marys, OH to her parents, Larry Ice, Jr. and Tessa M. Post. Haley graduated from Grant Co. High School in 2011, where she was an active participant in the National Honor Society and Jr. ROTC as an officer and color guard commander. She went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in chemistry and neurophysiology. In addition to her parents, Haley is also survived by her husband, Kyle Curry; her bonus mother, Melissa Monroe; maternal grandmother, Linda K. Cramer; paternal grandparents, Russ and Evelyn Foor; bonus grandparents, Kenny and Marsha Monroe; father-in-law, Dean Curry; mother-in-law, Sylvia Curry; mother-in-law, Kara Curry; brothers-in-law, Kurt Curry, Pierce Downey, Jackson Downey, Adam Curry, Isaac Curry and Bradley Curry; sister-in-law, Kaitlyn Curry; nieces, Emilia, Adelyn and Valerie; aunts, Amanda (Ice) Redman, Heather (Brett) Jansen and Elizabeth (Troy) Carper; cousins, Cayden, Bri, Emma, Paylin, Gavin and Isabelle; life-long best friend, Kathryn (Kati) Trenary; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her unborn son, Vincent Leon; cat-children, Iris and Leon; maternal grandparents, Lacy Cramer, James and Sue Welker. Haley lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Her giving spirit and love for animals, especially cats, was unmatched. Haley had a desire to open her own cat rescue in honor of her cat-children, Iris and Leon; two cats she had adopted with Kyle. She loved volunteering at the Purrfect Day Cat Café, as well as the Cincinnati Animal CARE Shelter. She loved friends, family and fur-babies. Haley will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Rainbows will be much brighter with her shining spirit filling every hue. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. A public Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 20 from 5-7PM at Purrfect Day Cat Café, 25 W. 8th St., Covington, KY 41011.
