Jacquelyn Young, age 69, of Elk Grove Village, Illinois went to heaven on Friday, November 22, 2024. Her passing was due to heart and kidney failure at Ascension Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 30 at the First United Methodist Church in Perry, Iowa at 10:00 AM, with the memorial service at 11:00 AM, and the funeral reception following.

Jacquelyn Marie Camp, daughter of William and Adele Camp, was born November 4, 1955, at the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. Jacque attended Glenbard East in Lombard, IL and graduated June 10, 1973. Next, she attended William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, IL, and graduated from there in Legal Technology on May 23, 1976. Then continued at Harper College, graduating with Associate in Arts, and Associate in Legal Technology on December 20, 1980. She attended Illinois State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science on May 7, 1983. She worked in the insurance field holding multiple positions for 20 years.

Jacque married Roger Wallace Young from Perry, Iowa on September 23, 1995.

She had a passion for traveling to learn about other cultures throughout the world, and especially enjoyed dancing and singing.

Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents, William and Adele Camp, two sisters, Kathryn Struhl, Christine Camp, and one brother, James Camp. Survivors include: three brothers William, John and Richard Camp, and two sisters, Virginia Camp and Joyce Vogt.
