We met Jennie over 20 years ago at the Bursey Senior Center where she loved to play cards. She even managed to get the Manager Deann Case to take some time out of her busy schedule to play a game or two with her. Then when Bursey Senior Center closed we all went to North Richland Hills Senior Center and she loved going to the lunches and holiday programs. Jennie also enjoyed her birthday parties at Bear Creek Apts. She was proud of all the many Cards she received each year. We had a large birthday party for her at Nikis restaurant a couple years ago. Karaoke Singers came over and sang to her and congratulated her and she absolutely adored the attention. She enjoyed going with us for several years to look at the Christmas lights. Mike always talked to her about the Texas Rangers baseball team which she really enjoyed. She had many friends at both centers but most have passed on before her. At the Bear Creek Apartments she was a very competitive Bochy ball player and everyone wanted her on their team. She won many competitions and was very proud of her status. I am glad we got to visit with her over the years and at the nursing home and in her final days. She will be greatly missed.
