Kimberly DeSean Obituary

Kimberly Michelle DeSean, 53, passed away on September 17th, 2024 in Vancouver, WA. She was a beloved partner, mother, sister, daughter, friend and grandmother.
Kimberly was born on April 9th, 1971 in Tampa, FL to David DeSean and Carolyn L. Griffith.
She spent the majority of her life between Athens, Ga and Vancouver, WA and made plenty of friends along the way.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoyed gardening, playing with her beloved pup, Jacks, and caring for her chickens. She and her partner, Rusty, enjoyed camping and being by the river.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her grandmother, Louise Thompson and her step father, Kenneth Rensi.
Kimberly is survived by her loving partner, Rusty Smith from Vancouver WA, her parents Carolyn L. Griffith from Punta Gorda, Fl, and David DeSean from Biloxi, MS. Her two daughters, Alyssa Krause and Devan (Brooks) Daniel and her beloved grandson, Beau Daniel, from Jefferson, Ga. Her brother, Christopher ( Jill) DeSean, nephews Dillon DeSean, Drennen DeSean, Hagen DeSean, and Casen DeSean and her niece, Carmella (Sasha) JaBusch all from the Portland OR/Vancouver WA area.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to St. Jude’s for Kids, The American Cancer Society, and the local animal shelter.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held immediately after at 2:00pm In the Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home.
