Kirk Henehan Obituary

Kirk Henehan, 72, of Whiting, NJ went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Kirk was born on November 26, 1952 in Lakehurst, NJ to his mother Barbara Henehan. His father Gabe Henehan. Kirk moved to Whiting 7 years ago from Bayville, NJ. Kirk was a Landscape Contractor. After a long career, he retired in 2018. In his youth, Kirk was a lifeguard and loved the beach. He was an avid fisherman and loved to watch football, his favorite team being the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kirk loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and watching Jake and Makaila playing their sports. Kirk was a fighter and full of strength. His legacy of resilience will live on through his loved ones. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend, who will be missed by all who knew him. He was a longtime Deacon and Trustee for many years at Emmanuel Community Church. Kirk is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving Kirk is his wife of almost 50 years Jacqueline (Iafelice) Henehan, his children, Shane Henehan and his wife Jenn, Kristi Henehan, and Keri Wickham and her husband Andy, his four grandchildren, Jake Henehan, Makaila Wickham, Kenley Wickham, and Kylee Wickham, as well as his siblings Bob Henehan and his wife Carol and Karen Sciarappa and her husband Vinnie, as well as many loved extended family members. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Kirks Life on May 3, 2025,at 1:00pm, at Emmanuel Community Church, 331 Wheaton Avenue, Bayville, NJ 08721. A repast at the church will follow.
