Mr. Larry Wayne "Byrd" Price, age 72 of Speedwell, TN was born July 11, 1952 and passed away January 9, 2025. Bird retired from the Insulators Union #46 and enjoyed rebuilding antique cars in his free time and after retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence and Thelma (Siler) Price, daughter; Leslie Kay Price
He is survived by his son; Dustin Price, daughters; Heather Price and Shannon Yeary, grandchildren; Karma Lynch and Talen Poole, great grandchildren; Keylee, Kali and one great grandchild on the way, along with family members, he is survived by the breakfast crew at Tiger Mart and Hardees.
He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Larry's home, 2046 Old Hwy 63, Speedwell, TN 37870, from 11AM until 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Carr Cemetery. The family would like to extend an invitation for all of Larry's friends to meet at his home to drink coffee and share memories together.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Claiborne County Animal Shelter, 674 Ritchie Lewis Drive, New Tazewell, TN 37825

Went to high school with Larry and occasionally see him later too. Larry was always friendly and telling funny stories. Sorry to hear he had pressed. Condolences to his family.
