Leroy Sklenar, 91, of Downers Grove, at rest February 21, 2025. Beloved dad to Linda and Gary; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; with special love and remembrance to Tom Shultz. Preceded in death by all his brothers and sisters: Josephine, Allan, Jim, Dick, Richie, Gerry, Fred and Mary Ann. Leroy was born and raised in Chicago, IL. After serving in the United States Armed Forces, he was employed at Western Electric – AT&T for 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved the family dogs. He was very active in senior clubs and especially enjoyed playing on the softball team and bowling leagues. He bowled a perfect 300 game in his 70's! Memorial Visitation Saturday from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Cappetta's West Suburban Funeral Home & Cremation Services 39 N. Cass Ave., Westmont, followed by Memorial Services at 12 P.M.
