Lillian J. “Didd” Burns, 94, of Petersburg, Kentucky died on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Villaspring Health and Rehabilitation, Erlanger.
Didd was born in Rabbit Hash, Kentucky on September 29, 1930, to the late Stanley and Agnes (Hodges) Stephens. She worked for many years as a U.S. Postal Clerk at the Petersburg Post Office and as a clerk for Belleview Sand & Gravel Co., Petersburg.
Didd was preceded in death by her husband, Galen S. “Cobb” Burns; a son, Galen Ray Burns; and her parents.
Survivors include a sister, June Carol Stamper; the person for which she claimed to be her little girl, Stephanie (Chris) Morris; and her adoptive grandchildren, Ethan, Lacy, and Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Kentucky.
