Lillian Vega Obituary

Lillian To Col Cathey-Vega departed this world for her heavenly home on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Mrs. Vega was born October 15, 1980 in Austin, Texas to Shirlie Cathey and Dwight Hill, Sr. She was the youngest of three children to her mother.

Lillian enjoyed working and owned her own domestic cleaning company for years. She was described as a very "Sweet" person by nearly everyone who met her. She always had a smile for you. She absolutely loved the Lord and expressed her belief often to family/friends. She clearly showed Jesus's love through her kindness and generosity to others.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Alferdo Vega of Austin, Texas, sisters Minnie Cathey of Smithville, Texas, Niesha LaiShay Clark, and Nichae Hill both of Austin, Texas. Brothers Christopher Jones (Florensia) of Bastrop, Tx and Dwight Hill, Jr. (Emily) of Austin, Texas., aunt Litlie Thompson, uncle Johnny Cathey, mother-in-law Bertha Alicia Gallegos and a host of nieces, nephews, & friends.

Preceding her in death were both parents.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, 604 HWY 95 N, Elgin, Texas 78621.
