RUTLAND- Mandy Lyn Cram, 48, of Rutland died Sunday February 23, 2025 at her residence following a brief illness, that she fought courageously.
She was born on Feb 21, 1977 in Rutland.
Mandy was raised in Rutland and attended the Rutland City Schools.
She married Joseph W. Cram on April 29, 2006 in Brandon.
Mandy was employed as an LNA at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home for a few years, then became a server working at Friendly's Restaurant, Ponderosa Steakhouse, Denny's Restaurant and for the last few years at Rosie's Restaurant in Middlebury.
Mandy was a fierce, free spirited woman with an infectious smile. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, camping, traveling to York, Old Orchard Beach, ME as well as South Carolina. She loved spending time with her kids and cats.
Survivors include her husband Joseph Cram of Brandon. Her mother Donna Doaner and husband Michael of Rutland, her father Mike Cavacas and his wife Sandra of Rutland. Children Dionna Galiano of Rutland, Alicia Landrie of Tampa, FL, Hope Desautels of West Rutland, Jonathan Desautels of Bandon, Brendan Cram and Dylan Cram both of Rutland, 2 grandchildren Taliah Morales of Tampa, FL and Makenna Cormia of Rutland. Siblings Barry Cavacas, Carrie Cole, and Amy LaFrancis all of Rutland, Michael Galiano III of West Rutland, Robert Galiano of Rutland, Faith Cavacas of Burlington, Cody Doaner of Rutland and Timothy Cavacas of Providence, RI. In-laws
Isabelle (John) Fairbanks of Brandon and Donald (Donna) Hartwell of Rutland, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband John B. Desautels on July 28, 2003 and her grandparents on both mom and dad's side.
Friends may call from 2pm until 4pm on Wednesday March 5, 2025 at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St, Rutland. A service will follow at 4pm at the funeral home.
A celebration of her life will be held 1pm Saturday March 15, 2025 at the West Rutland American Legion Hall.
