Margie Marie Mounce, 91, from Junction, Texas went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Junction Full Gospel Church, 210 N. 15th Street in Junction. Visitation will be held prior to services beginning at 1:00 PM. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, August 31st at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Piggott, Arkansas at 10:00 am.

Margie was born in Missouri on February 9, 1933. Her parents are William R. and Mary R. Woodland. They were sharecroppers, so Margie grew up on a farm picking cotton and peaches with her family.

Margie is preceded by her husband. James Franklin Mounce and by her son. William Randolph Mounce. 

Living survivors include her daughter, Sandra Kay Courtney and her husband Jerry; Margie’s sons, James T. Mounce, Robert F. Mounce, and Douglas E. Mounce; along with some amazing grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In her lifetime Margie cooked enough hamburgers to feed the entire world at Dairy Queen for several decades. She was also a faithful member of the Full Gospel Church in Junction. Mom loved picking up pecans down by the Llano River in her spare time and having picnics with her loved ones in the park.

Margie loved her family and she loved her Jesus. She will be missed.
