Mario Paicu Obituary

Marian "Mario" Paicu passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024 in the comfort of his home and his wife by his side at the age of 61. Marian was born April 18th, 1963 in Târgu Carbune ti, Romania to the late Elisaveta and Iulian Paicu. On September 14th, 2017 he married Mirela Braga and shared a beautiful life together until his last moments. He is survived by his daughter Diana Paicu, Step-daughter Corina Braga, his brother Lica Paicu, and his nephew Stefan Paicu.
Marian was an ambitious man throughout his life. Growing up in Romania, he ultimately lived and became a citizen in 3 countries. He owned several businesses in his twenties, then went on to have a successful career for decades as an automotive engineer. His passion for his work only grew as he specialized in emissions testing and mentored young engineers through his involvement at the SAE Clean Snowmobile Challenge. He was fluent in Romanian, English, and French. In his free time he was outdoors and riding/ fixing vehicles such as ATV's, snowmobiles, and mopeds. He reminisced of his youth spent hiking through the Carpathian mountains and summers on his grandmother's farm. He is remembered by friends, family and former colleagues as the life of the party. Marian will be missed.
Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 4:30 P.M. until the time of Service at 5:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, care of Mirela Braga, and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
