Markel attended T.L. Hanna High School and was employed at Mac Bid in Anderson, SC. He enjoyed playing basketball, pool and dancing.
He leaves to cherish his three brothers, Malik Holland and Mandriques Holland both of Anderson, SC and Marquez Moore of Germany; maternal grandmother, Peggy Dotson; paternal grandparents, Doris Ann (Ricky) Williams and Judy Faye Martin; paternal great-grandmother, Pearl Lee Tsevi, and paternal great-great grandparents, Lilly and Norman Williford; two special uncles, Antonio (Sheka) Dotson and Maurice Dotson.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tommy Dotson; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Boseman and paternal grandfather, David Holland.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Markel Quinchez Holland touched during his life's journey are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 1:30 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson with the interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
The public visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
