She was born on May 26, 1943 in St. Charles, MO to Edward and Marie (Norton) Luelf. Milderd grew up with her brother, David and both attended the local schools in Donovan, MO. On October 9, 1958 she was united in marriage to her sweetheart, Alvin Patterson. Mildred helped raise several of her nieces and nephews with love and compassion. She also worked as an accountant for many years in St. Louis, MO.
When her husband passed away on February 21, 2007, she decided to move to Troy, MO. There she became a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mildred helped whenever needed and made many good friends. Volunteering at the Lincoln County Health Dept was another of her past times, as well as being an avid reader.
Mildred was a very special lady and a wonderful caregiver to her loving, family members. She will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
Survived by her loving family including; her niece, Pam Wilson of Lagrange, MO, nephew, Michael Reinecke of Troy, MO, her great nieces and nephews, Bambi ( Armando) Lopez of Los Bano, CA, Greg (Cari) Creek of Howe, IN, Natasha (Colin) Eley of Howe, IN, James (Kira) Wilson of Lagrange, MO, Christian Reinecke of Scott Airforce Base, IL and Mariah Reinecke of Chicago, IL, 16 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of over 48 years and her brother.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.
A funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home in Troy. Father Eddie Voltz to officiate.
Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hawk Point, MO. Memorial donations may be made to P.A.L.S Animal Shelter c/o the funeral home.
