Chaucierre, Robert P.,
age 64 of St. Paul, passed away January 16, 2025 at the Minneapolis VA.
Preceded in death by father Jack, grandparents Amos and Ann (Vanyo) Gust.
Survived by his mother Joanne Thompson, sister Betty Ogles (Billy), a niece, a nephew, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
LTC Robert P. Chaucierre was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on 12 July 1960 and grew up as a youth in the United States Air Force community throughout the United States. He attended Middle Tennessee State University and graduated from the University of North Dakota (UND). He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant upon graduation from the North Dakota Military Academy.
LTC Chaucierre's 32 years of military service spanned an illustrious career in the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and multiple active-duty tours around the world.
LTC Chaucierre received many awards and decorations which include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Meritorious Service Medal, 6 Army Commendation Medals, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal.
In his civilian profession, Rob served as a Transportation Program Manager/Research Analyst for the Minnesota Department of Transportation and an External Support Branch Director for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, with gathering one hour prior at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 515 Albert St S, St. Paul. Interment Fort Snelling. Memorials preferred to ALS Association of MN and ND, or Our Lady of Peace Hospice. www.Washburn-McReavy.com
