Rose Stewart Obituary
A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and was a member of a local ladies' card club. Rose retired in 2002 from Mon Valley Hospital where she was a telephone operator for 20 years.
She is survived by a son and daughter in-law, Ronald and Christina Ortolona of Newark, DE, two grandchildren, Anthony Ortolona and Zachary Ortolona, a sister, Janet E. Caputo of Brownsville, and a brother, James T. (Dorothy) Stewart of Monongahela.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ortolona, a son, Anthony "Tony" Ortolona on March 7, 2002, and a brother in-law, Dick (Richard) Caputo.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com. A funeral service will begin at 8 P.M. with Pastor Chuck Jack officiating.
