Graveside services for Rosie Marie Sims, 89, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 A.M., Friday, December 13, 2024 in Rio Vista Cemetery. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Rosie Marie Sims passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Cleburne. She was born January 20, 1935 in Rio Vista, Texas to Earnest and Era (Carroll) Sims.
Rosie was a retired beautician and loved to crochet, sew, and collect dolls. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Lee Cogdill; son, Glen Randolf Cogdill; brothers, Ernest Sims, Jr., Marion Sims, and Harley Sims; sisters, Alicia Bowen, Bertha Ann Sims, and Juanita Sims; grandsons, Jeffrey Holmes, Michael Holmes, and Christopher Garner; and one granddaughter, Korey Lynn Moore.
Survivors include her son, Clifford Dean Cogdill of Joshua; daughters, Judy Walls, Donna Moore, Sandra Marbut, and Glenda Gonzalez, all of Cleburne, and Mona Flores-Camus and spouse, Shauen, of Longview, Washington; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; many other extended family and friends.
