Ruben Gutierrez Sanchez, 53 of Ivanhoe, California, died on January 19,2025, in Cutler, CA. Ruben was the first-born son to Lucia Sanchez Gutierrez and Ramon Gutierrez Sr. on February 05,1971 in Cuaulta, Jalisco Mexico.
Ruben grew up in Mexico and came to California at age of 7 with his brothers. He took nicknames Barra, Botellas, and Tripa. He lived his life to the max. He always said “Mi Dios siempre está conmigo, nunca me deja el sabe”.
He was always seen riding his bike in the city of Ivanhoe, playing his music, or see him cleaning the garden of Ivanhoe. He loved his Rancho that was of five acres. He always had a smile.
He met Amelia Hernandez, together they had 4 children: Elizabeth, Maritza, Andres and Ruben Jr.
He is survived by his parents Ramon and Lucia Sanchez Gutierrez; His four children, Elizabeth, Maritza, Andres, Ruben Jr. His six siblings, Ramon Jr.(deceased), Ernesto, Jose, Lourdes, Brendaliz, Griselda. His thirteen grandchildren Anahi, Paulet, Andrew, Jayden, Angel, Ayslin, Angelyssa, Alyza, Axiel, Damian, Nathan, Jose, Matthew.
Ruben was diagnosed with cancer July 2024. He was admitted to the hospital in November 2024. He spent the last months of life in his daughter’s home. He left peacefully.
He is preceded in death by his brother Ramon Gutierrez Jr. that received him with open arms in heaven.
Ruben will be missed but his spirit will be present forever.
