Salomon Archuleta Jr. 77, a resident of Edgewood, NM, passed away September. 16, 2024 at his home. Salomon was born March 8, 1947, in Tome, NM to Salomon Archuleta Sr and Juanita (Garcia) Archuleta. Salomon married Teresa M. Garcia on, January 4, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. He was a man of all trades, he loved working on his home, his yard and taking care of his dogs and chickens. He loved going for rides to the mountains, the lakes and New Mexico surrounding areas, he Loved New Mexico, he would always tell us how beautiful it was. Salomon loved fishing, camping and spending time with all his family. He always would reminisce about his father, his siblings, their ranch in Los Lunas, NM and his childhood. Salomon will be greatly miss by all his family and friends.
Salomon was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Teresa M. Garcia Archuleta, of Edgewood, NM; three sons, Mark Archuleta, Julian Garcia and Johnny Garcia all of Albuquerque, NM; two daughters, Sonia Archuleta of Mexico, and Ann R. Garcia of Edgewood, NM; one sister Merlinda Sabin of Houston, TX; nine grandchildren, Leah Archuleta, Tamara Tena, Omar Tena, Ariel Tena, Eddie Lucero, Jeffrey Fletcher, Seleste Garcia, Gabriel Garcia and Maya Garcia; six great grandchildren, Luna Gonzales, Nick Gonzales, Peter Gonzales, Samuel Garcia, Adelyne Garcia and Leslie Montano.
Funeral services will be as follows: Services at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM on Friday September 27, 2024; Viewing from 9:00am to 10:00am, Rosary from 10:00 am to 11:00am and Mass at 11:00am with Father Jose Lucero officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Archuleta, Julian Garcia, Johnny Garcia, Troy Sanders, Kenny Wilkinson and Nick Gonzales.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
