Spiros Sinanis Obituary

Spiros was a lively storyteller and enjoyed sharing stories of his childhood in Greece. Although he lost his father at a young age, he had a tight bond with his mother and siblings. Spiros often told loved ones that he never liked school and was a bit of a "troublemaker." Through his adult years, Spiros turned his fondness for food into a cooking career at local diners. He was a passionate sports fan who especially enjoyed cheering for his favorite Greek Soccer Team, Olympiakos.
Calling hours will be held at West Haven Funeral Home at the Green on Wednesday, October 9 from nine until ten o'clock, at which time his funeral procession will proceed to St. Michael's Cemetery, 7202 Astoria Blvd. S., East Elmhurst, NY, for interment at 1 o'clock.

Both my husband and I are very sorry to hear about Spiros passing. He was a good friend to us. We also worked with him for many years at the Highway Diner. May his memory be Eternal.
