It is great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our dear brother, Steven R. Kish. Steven was born April 12, 1959 in Painesville, to the late Robert and JoAnn (Korwek) Kish. He passed away May 23, 2025 at UH Tri Point Medical Center and was a lifelong resident of Fairport Harbor.
Steven was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, The Hungarian Culture Club and Fairport Harbor Rod & Reel. He loved traveling, cycling and attending and flagging car and motorcycle races. He was an avid fan of all Ohio State University athletics. Most of all he will be remembered for the love he had for his siblings and will be remembered as a devoted and generous uncle to his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings Therese (David) Denner, Jeanne (Robert) McGlone, Kristine - deceased (Raymond) Bilecky, Gregory - deceased (Milissa) Kish, Jennifer (Kenneth) Kelovsky and Daniel Kish. He also leaves his nieces and nephews Katherine, Sarah, Matthew, Rebecca, Joshua, Jessica, Emily, Michelle, Gregory, Justin, Jacob, Ella and Wyatt as well as 11 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 316 Fifth Street, Fairport Harbor, Ohio. A memorial mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Michael J. Stalla. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
A Celebration of Steven's Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
The family is very thankful for all his dear friends. "We love you always Steven and you will be truly missed."

I knew Steve through his friends at the American Legion. I always enjoyed talking to him about sports. The Buckeyes, Indians, or Browns. Condolences to family and friends.
